Korean Fusion POP UP - supporting World Central Kitchen & AAPI

I still remember the shock when I first heard of the Atlanta Spa Shooting on March 16, 2021. It left a big mark on my heart and words are not enough to remember what happened that day.

I also acknowledge the serious impacts of an ongoing war in Ukraine. As a Korean born, I am too familiar with the aftermath of imperialism, war, and everything that comes with them.

So, here I am - what I do best, cook my hearts out, share more love.

On March 20, Sunday, join us for a wholesome & heartwarming dinner with my own Korean Fusion twist. Think Grandma comfort meets European sensibilities from my recent trip to Paris/Stockholm.

One ticket includes a welcome beverage, 5-course fixed menu, tax & a $10 donation to Hollaback! * & Asian Americans Advancing Justice. AND World Central Kitchen who are providing hot meals in Ukraine borders for the refugees.

Final menu

1. Welcome drink - Seung Hee's homemade kombucha blended with herbal tea infusions (non-alcoholic)
2. Dubu - Tofu stuffed with scallops and peas, lightly fried, served with minari sauce & slutty sauce
3. Hwe - Salmon crudo with gochujang vinaigrette, herb salad, and hazelnut
4. Ddeok Guk - a Korean Fusion take on New Year's Day rice cake soup in soul nourishing broth with galbi dumplings
5. Halmeoni-jib Bap - Homage to Grandma's table, special rice with namul platter, an earthy savory doenjang stew with cinderella pumpkin & littleneck clams. Oh, and homemade ‘spam’ aka country pâté. Yup.
6. Hoosik - Fluffly magical goodness jeungpyeon using makgeolli (in place of yeast), and rice flour (instead of wheat flour).

Those who would like plant-forward menu (with 95% plant, with minimal use of fish sauce or broths), please email me and I will make sure to accommodate!
